Pupil Premium Grant (PPG)
Academic Year 2018 - 2019
Pupil Premium Grant - £625,945 (+£91,288 brought forward)
The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged students of all abilities and to close the gaps between them and their peers. Likewise, the Year 7 catch-up funding is provided to schools to support students moving from primary school who have not achieved the expected levels of progress in English and maths.
The 2018 - 2019 Pupil Premium Strategy & Intended Spend Plan is available here. This plan incorporates the intended spend of the Year 7 catch-up premium. A full annual review of the spending plan is undertaken in September of each year to evaluate its impact upon student outcomes and to inform future strategy.
Details of Pupil Premium funding expenditure prior to the 2018/2019 academic year can be found here.
