From 1st April 2022, there are changes to measures and guidance for managing Covid-19.
Asymptomatic testing is no longer recommended in any education setting so families are no longer expected to test twice weekly. As a result, school will no longer have LFD tests for distribution to families or staff.
· Children and young people aged 18 and under with a positive COVID-19 test result should try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people for 3 days, which is when they are most infectious.
Their contacts are no longer required to self-isolate. This means that children and young people who live with someone who has COVID-19 should continue to attend their education setting as normal.
We will continue to apply the following control measures:
• Ensure good hygiene measures for everyone
• Maintain appropriate cleaning regimes
