Combined Cadet Force

Combined Cadet Force

We are delighted to have our established Combined Cadets Force programme at Phoenix.

The CCF has been effective since June 2017 with the Royal Navy Section, and as of September 2019 due to our growth and success, we have launched a Royal Air Force Section. Our aim is to provide quality training with life changing experiences, whilst encouraging to develop and mould positive role models within our community.

Everything the cadets do, thrives from the corps military ethos of Courage, Commitment, Discipline, Respect, Integrity and Loyalty. This has an integral bond with our school ethos to aspire, believe and succeed and anything is possible to our team.

We deliver a regimented syllabus within regular parade nights where the cadets will learn about the military history, team work, drill, leadership, and command tasks.

If selected, cadets are offered national level courses and qualifications such as power boating, first aid level 3, adventure training and much more. We also offer field trips through school to go to HMS Raleigh, Britannia Royal Naval College, and even RAF Shawbury for helicopter experience packages. Phoenix CCF has it's own Corps of Drums which anyone is more than welcome to come along and learn how to play, led by a former Royal Marines Bandsman.

We strive to give the cadets professional judgement and encourage them to be leaders and help to develop others.
